DONCASTER League bowlers helped South Yorkshire beat Staffordshire 464-405 to lift the British Crown Green Ladies' Bowling Association runners-up final at Blackpool's Waterloo Hotel.
Armthorpe's Cynthia Tonge (21-9), Bawtry's Margaret Smith (21-20) and Eden Grove Sports Sarah Fox (21-15) all chalked up wins. Westfield Park's Liz Hall lost 21-9.
