DONCASTER Knights face a searching examination of their National League One credentials against Nottingham at Meadows Lane tomorrow.
"It is our toughest test so far even though we lost at London Welsh earlier in the season," said director of rugby Lynn Howells. "I think that Nottingham are a better all-round side than Welsh and they ask questions of you that other sides do not. Th
ey have had a settled side and most of their team have been together for several years.
"They are a difficult side to play against at the moment so, as I say, it will be a difficult game.
"But it will show us where we are in terms of our development as a team, and that will be one of the biggest things that will come out of the game for us.
"We beat Newbury 38-9 last week at home and though it is still work in progress it shows that we are moving forward.
"Whether that progress is quick enough to get a result at Nottingham, we'll find out tomorrow.
"But, if we play to the best of our ability for the full 80 minutes, we can get a result there."
Nottingham will be out to end a run of four straight defeats against Knights.
