Fletcher double puts Rossington in charge

ROSSINGTON Main moved into second spot in the Premier Dlvision after winning 3-1 at Edlington Rangers.
Brendan Fletcher hit a double with Liam Charlton rounding things off for Main. Dave Wheeldon was the Rangers marksman.

Swinton Station Athletic got back to winning ways with a 4-1 success at Yorkshire Main thanks to a brace by Steve Lynam and stri
kes by James Newton and Sean Greaves.

Carl Hird claimed the Main consolation. Goals by Simon Minshall and Reese Pegden saw Bawtry Town move off the bottom of the table after beating South Kirkby Colliery 2-0.

Edlington Town and Kinsley boys shared the points in a 1-1 draw. Mexborough Pocket recorded a 2-1 victory away at FC Thorne Town with strikes from Dean Sherratt and Guy Sandland. Mick Ryan was the Town marksman.

Retford Town coasted into the quarter final of the Premier Division Cup with a 4-0 win over Hemsworth Alpha "A". Daniel House, Daniel Law, Lee Garner and James Woodward were on target for Town.

Adwick Park Rangers were the day's top scorers - posting an 8-2 win against South Kirkby.

Gary Hodgson, James Irwin And Scott Butler both grabbed a brace for Rangers with Scott Maillie and Gareth Phillipson competing the tally.

A pair for Allan Fawley and one from Shaun Thompson helped Carcroft Village collect a 3-3 draw with visitors South Kirkby Travellers.

Hemsworth Alpha "B" put five past Bawtry Town Reserves.

Ryan Nook led the way with a hat-trick with Duncan Murray and Mark Webster also netting.

Jack Burton and Jamie Duckworth shared out the Town consolation goals. A brace each for Darren Harbin and Luke Smith, and a single strike by for Chris Hulme, secured all three points for Upton Brookside in a 5-4 win at Swinton Station.

Two goals by Luke Chambers for Sutton Rovers were not enough as Pollington progessed 5-2 to the next round of the Goole and Thorne Cup.

FC Tavern, for whom Scott Ward netted, suffered the same fate in the competition going down 4-1 to Moorends.
