BOWLS: ALAN Wright and Percy Simpson (21-5) were the match-winners for Rossington in their 68-64 Doncaster Bowls Association Over-60s Doubles League Division One over Bawtry.
Barry Bentley and Richard Commons (21-8) put Armthorpe in front, but a 21-2 win from last pair Malcolm Allan and Roy Turton won the match (70-54) for Denaby.

Parklands chalked up a 74-68 win over Roundwood.

Brian Coates and John Baldwin (21-5)
were the best winners for Adwick in their 77-49 Division Two victory over Rossington B.

League leaders Thorpe Marsh Bentley posted a comfortable 84-28 win over Hexthorpe thanks to Ron Mortlock and Warwick Buttery (21-8), Jim Ashe and Mick Finley (21-1) and Barry Tomlinson and Jack Richardson (21-7).

Last pair Tommy Edwards and Albert Cork won 21-8 for Pilks Pensioners in their 71-62 victory to Adwick.

Martin Henry and Colin Wheat (21-5) and George Boothman and Joe Dixon (21-6) were the pick of Yorkshire Main's winners in their 84-39 victory over Thorne.

Keith Raven and Ron Perry (21-8) secured Adwick B a 68-63 Division Three win at Bawtry B

Pilks Recs won the second half of a match delayed by rain in April, with Charlie Wootton and Barry Taylor (21-2) and Granville Prime and Mick Harper (21-8) all winning well in their 83-44 victory over Scawthorpe.
