THAT'S the stuff to give the troops!
Here's Sandra Lemons dressed up as a FANY (First Aid Nursing Yeomanry) World War One nurse with the troops taking up the rear.

She and her pals from music hall devotees Vulcan Varieties are kicking off a new season packed full of songs and routines from the war.

What do you think? Post your comment below.

They're at Coal Aston village hall this Friday, the Lantern theatre, Nether Edge, on Saturday and the Gatty Hall, Ecclesfield, on Saturday, June 7.

"We promise it's going to be lots of fun." says Sandra, who promises it won't be all quiet on the Western Front.

The players, who also appear at rest homes by request, are looking for someone with a big supply of mother of pearl buttons so they can branch out into being Pearly Kings and Queens.

Tickets from Christine on 0114 242 1728. Button info to Sandra on 0114 269 2961.
