SHEFFIELD United has admitted it got things back to front with their new Chinese defender Sun Jihai.
In China, the surname comes first, but the name on his number 12 shirt for the game at Birmingham read Jihai.

When he was at Manchester City it correctly said Sun.

Now the Blades have admitted they got it all wong.

"It's a bit of a cock-up," a Bramall Lane official tells The Diary.

"I imagine our kit man got it the wrong way round. We'll get it changed."

Before the occidental mistake the official had asked Sun Jihai what he preferred to be called.

"He said he wasn't bothered. It's not an issue with the player," he adds.

The club got it right last Saturday, when they entertained QPR, as the photo shows.

As Sun has played a blinder in both games, it's obviously not bothering him what name is on his shirt.
