PARKY might have signed off his TV show but he's certainly not signed off making money.
Last week he launched his autobiography in London, is about to release a compilation CD of favourite music tracks, the first of several, and his own website, www.michaelparkinson.tv

"Meet the man who's met everyone," it boasts. The site will give Sir Michael, as we must call him now, the chance to air his thoughts on matters of the day.

There are also video clips of some of his best-known interviews and gives a big plug to The Royal Oak in Paley Street, run with his son Nick.

Incidentally, one of the guests at the book launch was his old pal, umpire Dickie Bird.

He is so obsessed with being punctual he turned up nearly two hours early!
