CHRIS Ryan sounds the last man in the world to be caught short. Because he knows the location of all 8,500 public toilets in Britain!
In fact, when it comes to spending a penny, Chris has no equal.

He's even developed a website, www.needaloo.org, to tell you where they are.

Chris, aged 60, has a special interest in public toilets because he is disabled and he very often needs to plan his comfort stops well in advance.

But in locating all the disabled loos he has extended that to include the ordinary ones as well.

"My dream is for it to become the Google of toilets," he says.

Now he needs your help.

Every public khazi is located on a map but he wants confirmation he's got them in the right place.

He has visited very few of them and only around his native Harrogate.

"The reason I have undertaken this project is because if I am going somewhere new I like to know where the disabled loos are," he says.

What do you think? Post your comments below.

He has spent the last five years getting in touch with local councils to find out where the toilets are.

"I've had plenty of time, stuck at home," he says.

Now he's going further. He wants people to help him with their local loos, ticking off the facilities available and giving them a rating. It would be the start of a Good Loo Guide.

And he's even including photographs of the lavvies on the website - no kidding!

But just be careful if you're seen taking a camera into a toilet!

Now most of us won't be anywhere near a computer when we feel the call of nature. But it will be a great help to the disabled.

And the website can be accessed from a WAP internet phone.

So has Chris spent a lot of pennies getting his website up and running?

"Not a lot. Most of it is my own time and I've got a lot of that," he says.
