COULD Sheffield-based puppet news reporter Bob Green be the next YouTube star?
The city's Puppetechnics studio, which uses Bob of the PBC (Puppet Broadcasting Corporation) to front its videos, has been emailing contacts with a clip of Bob's 'audition tape' for children's BBC.

Boss David Thornton says: "Help us to turn Bob into a real TV star by passing this email around your contacts and encourage them to click on the audition tape on his You Tube site.

"If you forward this email to at least 10 people on your contacts list and they do the same, within 48 hours Bob will be an internet HIT."

The Diary's money is on the company's online agony aunt Babs, who you wouldn't want to perform in front of the children.

Put 'Bob Green BBC' or 'Askbabs' in YouTube to watch.

Show goes on

PLEASED to note that the show will go on for the B N Myers School of Theatre Dance who lost their booking at the Merlin Theatre in Nether Edge, Sheffield, because of building work.

It looked as if they might have to cancel the production until they found a new berth at the Lomas Hall, Stannington.

And the name of the show? Who Cancelled Christmas! It's there from Wednesday, October 29 to Saturday, November 1. Tickets on 0114 230 5163 or 233 9584.
