Condolences: Robert Mackey and Mark Besford
Hall Cross school pals Robert Mackey and Mark Besford died in a car collision, both aged 19.
Robert had been a member of several well-known bands in the borough including Area 15 and had been a young rugby star.
He was also a member of the award-winning Vicky Bodman Guitar Orchestra and had played the Royal Festival Hall with the organisation.
The teenagers had were travelling to Mark's home in Westwoodwide when the blue Citroen Saxo they were in left the B1396 near Misson following a collision with a green Volvo car.
