Dexter Skinner, who suffered from a severe peanut allergy, died after biting into a chocolate bar.
The 16-year-old student at Maltby Comprehensive was rushed to Rotherham General Hospital suffering from anaphylactic shock.

The youngster spent 48 hours in the intensive care unit before he died with members of his family present.

Dexter, a mountain bike enthusiast, had just completed his GCSEs and intended to return to Maltby Comprehensive in September to continue his studies.

Headteacher David Sutton said the youngster was an inspiration and a true ambassador in the Maltby community.

He said: "Dexter was a popular young man who worked hard in and out of school to become successful."

You can leave a tribute to Dexter or message of condolence by adding a comment.
