COACH company boss Bernard Millward was killed when the bus he was working beneath rolled forwards and crushed him.
The 76-year-old, who ran Parkway Coaches with his wife Valerie, was carrying out maintenance underneath one of his coaches, which was up on blocks, when the vehicle started to roll forward down a sloping driveway.

Mr Millward's garages are next to his home on Dovercourt Road, Manor Park.

The death of the popular mas has shocked neighbours in the area around City Road and they have paid tribute to him, describing Mr Millward as a "quiet man".

If you would like to leave a message of condolence or tribute to Mr Millward add your comment below.
