Trunx pays visit to sports centre

Youngsters in Dronfield enjoyed a visit from swimming mascot Trunx, as part of free ‘have-a-go’ health days.

The elephant, the mascot of the Amateur Swimming Association, visited Dronfield Sports Centre to meet families trying their hand at a variety of taster exercise sessions.

Free sessions were also held at Eckington Swimming Pool and Sharley Park Leisure Centre, Clay Cross, with everything from Zumba or rugby to pool sessions on offer in a bid to get people more active.
