CONTACT COLUMN: Keyworth, Howson, Kenworthy, Goodwin, Harper and Heeley St Peters Young Wives
JOSIE Rimmington is trying to find old friends of Dorothy (Dot) and Thomas (Noel) Smith.
She says: "Dot and Tom were married at St Thomas Moores Church, Halifax Road, Parson Cross in 1959.
"I'm their daughter and I'm organising a surprise 50th anniversary party for them in June. They now live in Canada but will be visiting England in June. If Joyce Keyworth, who was their maid of honour, Ann Howson (bridesmaid) and old friends Mr and Mrs Kenworthy, who lived on School Road, High Green in the 1960s, could please call me, my parents would be very pleased to see them at the party."

CAN you help Pete Mayson to trace members of his family?
He says: "I have started researching into my family as my father passed away in 1962 and, being in foster care before moving to Barnsley, I have no recollection of my childhood before 1963.
"My mother never mentioned those days and she passed away in 1987. I am now 50 and have unearthed three sisters, two of whom I never knew existed, and the other I have no recollection of as I haven't seen her since my father passed away.
"The sisters I am trying to trace are; Angela Goodwin (born between January-March 1952). She lived with us until 1963 then was fostered out as she wished to remain in Sheffield when my mother, Joyce Goodwin, moved to Barnsley. The other two are Heather Goodwin (born between July-September 1961) and Yvonne Goodwin (born between January-March 1963). My mother was pregnant with Yvonne when my father, Charles Mayson, passed away in November 1962 and this caused her to have a mental breakdown which resulted in the child being taken away at birth. But she was registered as Yvonne Goodwin in Sheffield."
