We believe Boo was in a snare

We are horrified to hear about Danielle Bentley finding her cat Boo, missing a leg and covered in blood.

We believe from experience of this type that the cat had been in a snare or leg hold trap and had managed to free itself to drag itself home .

We get calls and emails of such incidents daily. Not long ago we were dealing with a lurcher who lost his front leg to a snare.

We ask the public to be vigilant and pass to us any information that can help tackle this disgusting cruelty.

People tend to put snares in gardens for rabbits or on allotments for foxes yet these are the places that cats wander around.

Look on to our web site where we offer legal advice and you can contact us in confidence at www.antisnaring.org.uk

We hope someone will tell us the truth about Boo's death.
