Unions should be outlawed to put a stop to disruption
I AM utterly dismayed to learn that drivers at First South Yorkshire are threatening to go on strike and cause massive disruption throughout Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster.
This comes hot on the tail of strikes at London Underground and Lindsey Oil Refinery in Lincolnshire, amongst others.
As far as I am concerned, the day the unions are outlawed once and for all cannot come quickly enough.
I know this sounds extreme, but we simply cannot, and must not, allow our city, or indeed our country, to be held to ransom by what, in my opinion, amount to little more than a rag-tag army of money-grabbing communist thugs.

n IT seems that on the First Group website the union has put in for a 28 per cent pay rise!
Surely a union would not put forward such a plan in the current economic situation? Is this a diversionary tactic from First to direct news away from the recently announced cuts?
I would love to work for First at 7.95 an hour if that (hopefully more) is the wage.

n IF First are paying the lowest wages, how is it that we must be paying the highest fares for a rubbish service?
Any driver thinking of action please think again about your few remaining passengers.
