Turnaround has created Conservative-Labour pact
I CANNOT get my head around the motive of Coun Ann Smith or her partner, the so-called Independent, Martin Davis. In trying to destroy the lovely community of rural Wisewood, they have created a Conservative/Labour pact.
Mr Cameron will be sorry to hear about this turnaround and hear it he will. They both come from small isolated communities. They should be shouting from the rooftops: save our small schools. Does she have a fear for her own seat in Dore that the Lib-Dems could take over, which would be: you are the weakest Link, Coun Smith, goodbye.
Should Mr Davis support her and the current administration, then a by-election should be called in Stocksbridge and let the people know that he is now a true blue Conservative.
Or is his reason that the current Mayor of Stocksbridge could be appointed to stand for the Lib-Dems at the next local election? If this is true, then his merger with the headline-grabbing Coun Smith could mean he is deselected.
Politics, selfish politicians, scheming officials, when will we ever have the integrity and honesty of Cicero in our city?
