Time to call a halt on benefits drain
SO, Sheffield is known as a sanctuary for asylum-seekers and refugees.
I think nearly 100 per cent of Sheffielders are appalled, especially those waiting for houses and those whose children cannot get into the schools of their choice.
Hospitals around Sheffield are extra-busy with people who can't speak our language having to have interpreters to help them. Go to any suburb and you will find we are slowly becoming the minority.
Look at the city centre alone, the millions of pounds paid in benefits, especially child benefit, is draining our resources and more burdens put on the poor working people who are finding life hell trying to manage to pay their way. I think it's time to call a halt.
