Putting the matter straight on letter
TO all star readers
i wish to put the matter straight on the letter i submitted to the ;star; recently i am sorry to say that this letter was taken out of proportion by (the star]editor and his staff and verry diferennt to the one that i submitted .if any one would like the proper version of my letter (you can contact me on (fred932002@googlemail.com]
FOOTNOTE: We received this from Harry Rodgers after a previous letter was published concerning levies paid by council tenants. Here is Mr Rodgers's original, unedited, letter: i am writing this letter with regard to the levy money that we pay as a part of our rent to (sheffield city council] we are all paying this money in with our rents but we never get told apart from bailing out the t.a.r.a groups in the city i believe all tennents are entitled to know how this money is spent as it is tennants money at the end of the day .i think that sheffield homes should be made to inform every tennant at least every three months or so where this money is going who is spending it etc. which would put an end to the speculation as to where our money is going instead of silly rumours that fly about every so often
