It's a coalition of animal cruelty
Animal lovers have virtually no reforms to thank Labour for, but the coalition has viciously reversed any progress, attacking animal welfare.
40 million pheasants and partridges bred to be shot are kept in battery cages. Labour was about to ban this, but the Tories swept the ban aside.
Labour opposed badger-slaughter: swept aside.
Labour agreed vets must be present at 25% of sale days at livestock markets: gone.
Evidence was produced of cruelty at several slaughterhouses: CPS dropped the case.
Labour was about to keep its promise of banning wild animals in circuses: gone.
And Cameron and his hunting friends are itching to chase and savage the fox, the hare and the deer.
A Coalition of cruelty.
