Government is covered in blood

SIX years ago, after clinging to the coat tails of George Bush, Tony Blair promised that this country would attack Iraq with the USA and later to be involved in Afghanistan.

This Government's hands are drenched with the soldiers' blood and when the bodies of those soldiers are brought home, no MP has the principles to be in the vicinity.

To me they seem to be more determined to feather their own nests resulting in ownership of three houses and other luxuries. A far cry from council housing?

The Government held out to the bitter end regarding the Ghurkhas' welfare.

I hope the widows get a better pension deal than the widows of 1914-18 (5 shillings a week) and 1939-45 (1 a week).
