School nursery plans decision

Controversial plans to rebuild and expand a nursery block at a Sheffield preparatory school could be approved next week.

Members of Sheffield Council’s city centre, south and east planning board will make a decision on the scheme, at Mylnhurst School, Button Hill, Ecclesall, on Monday, after visiting the site to investigate concerns about parking and close proximity to homes.

There is still huge opposition - with 21 letters and petitions signed by 224 people - despite proposals being redrawn after initial objections.
