Roadworks galore as drivers facing disruption

MOTORISTS will have jounreys potentially disrupted by a series of roadworks this week.

Jenkin Road, Wincobank, will be one-way only daily until February 20, .

There are now be temporary off-peak traffic lights on Glossop Road, Broomhill; Northfield Road, Crookes; and on Loundside, Chapeltown, for a week until Feburary 19.

Mansfield Road, Intake, will have traffic signals today at off-peak times.

Greystones Road will be shut between Greystones Grange Road and Bingham Park Road to repair a culver until Friday, while Wortley Road, High Green, will have temporary signals until Sunday.

From today, Abbeydale Road South, Totley, will have three-way traffic signals at the junction of Dore Road in the evening.

Meanwhile Sheffield Road, Woodhouse, will have temporary lights from tomorrow for a week.

On Thursday, Rockingham Street in the city centre will be one-way after 7pm, while Shepcote Lane, Tinsley, will also have off-peak lane closures.

Commonside, Crookesmoor; Derbyshire Lane, Norton and Middlewood Road North, Middlewood, will all have temporary signals on Friday.
