Housing plans move forward

PLANS have been submitted for 305 new homes on derelict sites around Sheffield estates.

Sheffield Housing Company, formed by Sheffield Council, builder Keepmoat and Great Places Housing Group, has submitted planning applications to build the properties.

The application, for 142 homes at Falstaff, Parson Cross, 116 at Park Spring Drive, Norfolk Park; and 47 in Shirecliffe, are the first phase of a plan to build 2,300 new homes over 15 years.

Construction at Parson Cross and Norfolk Park is set to begin in July, if approved, while Shirecliffe would start next year.

To view and comment on the plans log onto www.sheffield.gov.uk and search planning applications using references 12/00212/FUL, 12/00206/FUL and 12/00205/FUL.
