Great shopping trip

PUPILS from two South Yorkshire schools have celebrated after receiving equipment from Tesco’s Schools and Clubs scheme.

Youngsters from Kendray and Cudworth Churchfield Schools visited the store on Wombwell Lane, Barnsley. They were handed armfuls of items purchased through the scheme by their local MP Michael Dugher, who represents Barnsley East.

Peter Fay, store manager at Tesco Barnsley, said: “Tesco for Schools & Clubs is a scheme which my team are proud to be part of. We were really pleased Michael Dugher was able to present the products.”
