A Mini celebration

Paula Jones of Cairns Road, Beighton witth her husband Richard after she won a Min from the Co-op

SHE is the massive winner of a Mini prize.

Lucky Paula Jones is celebrating winning a new car in a competition she spotted at her local supermarket.

Paula, of Cairns Road, Beighton, Sheffield, won a Union Jack-branded Mini Cooper after buying potatoes in the Co-op store, Manvers Road, Beighton.

She said: “I still can’t believe it. When I got the call to say I’d won I couldn’t stop leaping up and down!”

The Best of British contest, featured on potatoes, tomatoes, peppers and iceberg lettuce, aimed to raise awareness of the benefits of buying fresh, in-season, homegrown UK produce.
