Stealing flowers from graves to sell on to unsuspecting customers sounds about it, I'd say.
That's what police believe is happening at Sheffield's City Road Cemetery.
So many floral tributes and bouquets were stolen in the last raid at the ceme
tery, grieving relatives have been urged not to leave flowers on their loved one's graves.
It must be heart-breaking to turn up, in the midst of despair, and find that the costly blooms you chose with such care have been taken by someone whose only thought is of making easy money.
"I would urge the people who have done this to look into their hearts and imagine the impact it has," says a spokesman for City Road.
These thieves surely can't ever have lost someone they loved. Either that or they just don't have hearts to look into.
