Cheryl Cole... there's more to that lass than meets the eye, isn't there?
A few months back, when Ashley had played away with some trollop that didn't even look fit enough to walk in Cheryl's shadow, I thought she was a spineless little thing.

And that she'd take him back because being with a famous handsome footballer
who cheated was better than not being with one at all.

But she's a tough as old football boots, that Geordie lass. Just look at her on X Factor. They have obviously slotted her into the compassionate seat vacated by Sharon Osbourne. But she's unafraid to voice her opinion, bite back at Cowell AND say no when she needs to.

She's totally eclipsed Dannii Minogue, who barely says a thing these days. Though that could be down to the fact that her face has been pulled so taut, her mouth won't work.

Taking Ashley back and being able to forgive are the actions of a strong and confident woman.
