A celebration of the vibrance and diversity of this central community and the independent status of the Broomhall forum.
The Broomhall Forum now has a new legal status.

From 1st December 2007 we became a registered company limited by guarantee.

We have entered into a new contract with Sheffield City Council to provide services in the Broomhall area until 31st
December 2008.

To celebrate this momentous achievement we are holding a separate event on Tuesday 12th February at the Broomhall Centre on Broomspring Lane.

From 3.30pm-6pm there will be a drop-in session, including information stalls, displays and the opportunity to become a member of Broomhall Forum, adding power to your voice within the community.

The social aspect of the evening commences at 6.45 with a key note speaker and will be followed by a jazz quartet with a luscious female vocalist and the further temptation of a real Belgian chocolate fountain with goodies for dipping.

The Forum Manager Linsey Taylor Auad said " The Forum has risen like a phoenix from the ashes, to take on the challenge of our independent status.

"With the new status comes new freedom and renewed passion so that our engagement with the community in 2008 looks even more exciting than in previous years, With a full staff team and many innovative new projects Broomhall Forum has gone from strength to strength and continues to make the most of the vibrant and diverse community that is Broomhall."

Drop in between 4.30 pm and 6.00 pm and meet members of the Forum. Guest speaker: 6.45 pm Social: 7 - 9pm

Find out what the Forum is doing, become a member and see the displays, live music, guest speaker and lots more – refreshments- including a real Belgian chocolate fountain and dipping treats.
