Norton pupils are to put chefs at the Copthorne Sheffield Hotel through their paces this week, as they hand over their recipes for specially-designed Yummy Mummy cupcakes.
Children from Norton Free CE Primary School have invented their ultimate Mothers’ Day cupcakes, which will be baked especially for local mums at the hotel’s free Yummy Mummy charity event on Thursday, March 15.
Yvonne Finnerty, from the hotel, visited the school to choose winners from each year group and hand over £100 of baking equipment to the school.
The Yummy Mummy event, part of a national fundraising initiative organised by children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargant, runs 10am–3pm.
All local mums are welcome to enjoy a few hours of food, drinks, pampering and fashion from Sheffield’s Spa 1877 and House of Fraser in return for a donation to CLIC Sargant.
