YouTube bid to win investment

Inward investment specialists have taken to YouTube in the hope of attracting more companies to the Sheffield City Region’s Enterprise Zone.

The Region’s inward investment team has created the video - http://scrinvest.com/2013/11/2198/- for UK Trade & Investment’s digital platform and is urging the local business community to share the video with their global and national contacts via YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites.

Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership chairman James Newman said: “The video shows that Sheffield City Region is a great place to locate your business, and improve your bottom line through great Enterprise Zone incentives.”

The video features local businessman Andrew Taylor, managing director of X-Cel Superturn, and Duncan Armstrong-Payne, development manager of Harworth Estates, whose Advanced Manufacturing Park site forms part of the Enterprise Zone.

Mr Taylor tells viewers: “I have had factories in India and America and the quality is definitely better from our factory here in the Sheffield City Region.”
