People have until the end of the month to have their say on the future of Sheffield's trams.

The South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive, or SYPTE, wants to know where people would like Supertram routes to be built, how the network could be improved and how services could fit with other forms of transport.

The feedback will be used to help transport bosses draft a strategy ahead of a bid for Government funding.

The consultation closes on October 30.

SYPTE executive director Stephen Edwards said: “Thank you to those that have taken the time to have their say on the future of Supertram.

"We are grateful for the encouraging response, with over 1,000 surveys received to date.

"We're keen for as many residents and businesses across Sheffield City Region as possible to complete the consultation before it closes.

"These important views will help to shape our investment strategy to make sure the system is fit for purpose and prepare the network for its next chapter."
