An initiative that encourages young people to be enterpreneurial by setting up their own businesses has staged its annual trade fair at Meadowhall.

Students aged 14 to 18 from across South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire, including this team from Branston Community Academy, put their wares on sale at the shopping centre.

Meryl White, who chairs Young Enterprise South Yorkshire said: “Each year the students impress us with their fantastic fledgling businesses.

“For many it is their first step into the world of business. Under the Young Enterprise Company Programme they will have learnt business skills and developed their own working companies.”
