Lawyers from Wrigleys Sheffield and Leeds offices who advise charities and not-for- profit organisations have been ranked as one of the top two teams in Yorkshire.
Wrigley’s team handles complex governance and charity bond issues, mergers, employment and international matters.
The firm, whose Sheffield team is lead by Godfrey Smallman, recently advised on a multimillion-pound secured loan facility.
Mr Smallman advises on ecclesiastical matters, as does Michael Longden from Irwin Mitchell’s third-ranked team.
The Legal 500 highlights Mr Longden’s work for both educational and ecclesiastical clients on the creation of innovative charity ventures and also focuses on the work of Irwin’s Laurence Gavin.
