A SHEFFIELD firm has been named architect and lead consultant for a striking new development in London’s West End.

Architects and interior designers Ward McHugh Associates are designing a flagship store and headquarters just off Oxford Street for clothing group Bosideng International, which has more than 7,500 outlets throughout China.

Ward McHugh says the ‘flowing’ design of the £25 million development was inspired by the historic River Tyburn now hidden beneath the adjacent streets of the West End.

Four of the floors will be used as a store by the menswear brand, while two storeys will be occupied by offices, with a penthouse suite on the top floor.
