A SHEFFIELD woman has battled three debilitating medical conditions to set up a growing web-based franchise which champions local independent companies.

Mother of two Wendy Ward suffers from the blood disorder Hughes Syndrome and the auto immune conditions Lupus and Sjogren’s Syndrome.

But, despite those ailments which make clots liable to form in blood vessels and cause the body to attack its own cells and tissue, 41-year-old Wendy set up her own home shopping franchise, Printanoffer.com Sheffield, which promotes money saving offers from local businesses that surfers can download and print off or receive by text.

Now, she is offering sub-franchises to local people who want to work flexibly from home.

“I’d operated a successful home shopping franchise, which I still run, for nearly two years, despite finding the physical sides to the business difficult if I wasn’t feeling well,” says Wendy.

“Small companies deserve to have the same online presence as large firms and we provide this at a low cost as well as encouraging the community to shop local.

“What sets us apart from other online money-off or voucher sites out there is that we specialise in championing this sector.”

Potential franchisees can contact Wendy Ward through her www.printanoffer.com/sheffield website.
