FANS of Chesterfield FC hoping to travel to Wembley by train are urged to buy tickets in advance rather than on the day.
East Midlands Trains is putting on nearly 1,000 seats across three extra services from Chesterfield to London on Sunday, to take fans to the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final, departing at 7.11am, 7.30am and 8.05am.
Emma Knight, for East Midlands Trains, said: “Trains are getting busy, but we do have some seats left.
“Coming back, things are very busy.
“We have some tickets left for later trains, such as leaving St Pancras at 9.30pm.”

n Chesterfield FC has urged potential tenants to come forward for space in its new stadium.
The club’s community trust is urging businesses, charities or community groups who want to be considered for the Midlands Co-operative Community Stand at the B2net Stadium to get in touch.
Tenants can move in when the stand is completed.
John Croot, community director, said: “We would like anyone who is interested to get in touch so the fit-out takes into account everyone’s needs.”
