South Yorkshire’s wannabe entrepreneurs are set to take part in a nationwide event for those looking to start up in 2016.
Small business network Enterprise Nation, will deliver a bite-sized boost with advice and talks from successful local entrepreneurs, workshops on creating a business model, finance and legal structures, getting online, marketing and customer service.
The event at Barnsley Digital Media Centre, County Way, on Saturday January 16, is one of nine ’satellite’ gatherings that will coincide with one huge event in Canary Wharf, London.
StartUp 2016 in Barnsley is a collaboration between Enterprise Nation and high- profile sponsors including HSBC, domain name firm 123 Reg, internet technology business Verisign, cloud-based accounting software company Xero and small business insurance provider, Direct Line for Business. Accountancy firm KPMG is headline sponsor.
