THE Queen’s bankers and a cutting edge software company have been named headline sponsors of this year’s MADE: The Entrepreneur Festival in Sheffield.

Andrew Haigh, managing partner of wealth management specialist Coutts & Co’s Entrepreneur Group, said: “Coutts recognise that we have a duty to help boost economic growth by supporting young businesses and entrepreneurs.

“This festival provides a chance for entrepreneurs to share their skills and connections to help build successful businesses. It is a showcase of all that is good about British business and we are delighted to be playing our part.”

Intuit, which produces the QuickBooks small business accounting software, is the other headline backer.

Sally Revell, UK group marketing manager, said: “Intuit was born with a simple idea for improving people’s financial lives, and two decades later our size means that we can help other growing companies be successful.

“MADE is a fantastic platform to inspire, encourage and support entrepreneurs and small businesses, and we are delighted to be playing our part in the UK’s enterprise-led recovery.”
