BRITAIN’S highest ranking police officer – Sheffield-born Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe – will be principal guest and speaker at this year’s Cutlers’ Feast.

Also speaking at the feast, in May, will be Daniel Evans, artistic director of the Crucible Theatre, of which Master Cutler Neil MacDonald is a trustee.

Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe was born in Brightside. He served in the South Yorkshire police, was Chief Constable of Merseyside Police and Her Majesty’s Inspector of Constabulary prior to becoming Met Commissioner.
