The Government is still investigating P&A despite it going into administration.

Officers from the Department for Business Innovation and Skills - backed up by police - raided the firm’s premises on Queen Street in Sheffield in June last year, followed by a second visit in July.

In June this year P&A went into administration. A BIS spokeswoman confirmed they were still running a criminal investigation.

In July, BIS said: “We can confirm the department’s criminal investigators are investigating an allegation relating to The P&A Partnership but it is not appropriate to go into detail at this time.” F

ollowing the raids last year, a P&A spokesman said they were in connection with matters raised more than a year earlier by two former employees. He added: “We are confident this will be resolved soon.”
