The clinical negligence team at Sheffield’s Taylor&Emmet LLP has donated more than £1,000 to a local charity that helps improve cancer sufferers’ quality of life.
Taylor&Emmet staff gave £1,056 from the firm’s participation in the Great Yorkshire Run to Cavendish Cancer Care.
The team doubled its fundraising target, thanks to the support of family, friends, colleagues and the wider legal community.
James Drydale, head of Taylor&Emmet’s clinical negligence team, said: “We are very proud to be handing over such a large amount of money from our first fundraiser and we would like to thank everyone who sponsored us for their generosity.
“Everyone performed extremely well. We achieving three personal best times for this distance and we are ready to build on this success – we may even make it a half marathon next time! This important charity relies entirely on donations and we hope to continue raising awareness of its vital work.”
