Companies are being invited to a conference that will outline the business opportunities offered by the construction of a new Yorkshire power station, linked to carbon capture and storage technology.

The event takes place at the Stables, High Melton, near Doncaster, on Wednesday, October 12, and is being organised by the Rotherham-based National Metals Technology Centre’s Manufacturing Forum.

The £3 billion project is expected to need 2,000 construction workers and 200 people to operate the plant.
