Financial planning expert Louise Oliver has been named chairman of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce’s Inspiring Women Forum.

She takes over from Suzanne Liversidge, managing partner at the Sheffield office of law firm Kennedys, who will become the Chamber’s first female president later this year.

Louise Oliver was born in Sheffield 45 years ago and educated at High Storrs School. In 2002 she founded The Taylor Oliver Partnership with Steve Taylor.

Since then the Chesterfield-based company has grown consistently, attracting new clients from as far away as London and winning a top accolade at the New Model Adviser Awards.

Last year the company increased profits by 22.4 per cent.

Louise Oliver is also vice president of the British Association of Women Entrepreneurs.
