Some of Sheffield’s leading companies are swapping the comfort of the workplace for the cold of the streets as they support homeless charity Roundabout’s Sponsored Sleep Out.
Roundabout supports 150 homeless young people every day and has the only emergency hostel in Sheffield for young homeless people aged 16 to 21, many of whom will have experienced the harshness of outdoor living.
The charity’s Sleep Out will take place at St Andrew’s Church on Psalter Lane, Sheffield, on Thursday, November 6.
Already signed up are teams from Evolution Power Tools, BSkyB and Sainsbury’s at Archer Road.
The event begins at 8pm and finishes the next morning at 7am.
It costs £15 to register for the event.
