ONE of Doncaster’s former Netto stores is set to re-open tomorrow following a revamp and rebranding.
The shop on Springwell Lane, in Balby, is one of the stores which was taken over by Asda last year.
The store will officially be re-opened in its new colours by children from the nearby Balby Children’s Centre.
They are being given a £50 gift card donation as a thank you for carrying out the role.
Asda bought most of Netto’s stores as part of a £778 million sale.
It has also taken over the stores in Wheatley, Rossington, Conisbrough, Stainforth, Balby and Edlington.
But the Armthorpe store has been sold to Morrisons and the Carcroft shop to the Haldane Retail Group at the request of the Government.
