A SUPERMARKET in Barnsley is taking the strain out of grocery shopping by offering a new home delivery service to its customers.
Shoppers who live within five miles of the Co-op on Barnsley Road, Cudworth, can have items delivered free to their door after spending £25 or more in store.
The service will operate from Monday to Saturday, 11am to 8pm, while customers spending under £25 and those who live more than five miles away can have shopping delivered for £3.
Deliveries will also be available from later this month at the Co-op on Blacker Road, Mapplewell.
A shopping service for OAPs with health or mobility problems, run with Age Concern in Barnsley, is also available. For more information, call 01226 776 824.
