DISGRUNTLED workers at a South Yorkshire steel rod factory who staged a four-day strike in a dispute over pay have voted to continue industrial action.

Some 50 staff BRC Barnsley, who are members of the steel workers’ union Community, are unhappy with their company’s refusal to offer a pay rise for the second year running. The industrial action involves a ban on overtime and a work to rule and, from next Tuesday, August 30 to Wednesday, August 31, a selective strike in machine areas of the company.
