Rostek-UK, the Sheffield-based fall protection and façade access specialist, has begun work on a £40,000 contract at a new eco-friendly pPolice station in Hull.
BAM Construction awarded Parkway Business Park-based Rostek the contract to supply a travelling ladder, monorail and guardrail system for the station, which generates 30 per cent of its energy needs by using solar panels, wind turbines and a biomass boiler.
BAM Construction’s Luke Oldroyd said: “Rostek-UK has worked successfully with BAM on a variety of projects and we have always been impressed with the knowledge, skills and expertise within the company in providing the right solution.”
Rostek-UK’s managing director Dave Uttley said: “A key part of our business is to build successful relationships by delivering the things we promise on price and on budget.
“The fact we have been recommended by others within BAM demonstrates we are achieving these aims by consistently providing high levels of workmanship and customer services.”
