Stafforce recruits new businesses to fuel growth

RECRUITMENT company Stafforce Recruitment has acquired Barnsley based trainers and business consultants Action 4 Business.

The deal follows closely after Nick Cragg, founder of Rotherham-based Stafforce, sold a 15 per cent stake in the business to its management team and is part of the company's strategy of strengthening its position in the recruitment market by buying smaller recruitment businesses and specialist providers.

Chief executive Ian Anderson said: "Action 4 Business has been working with us for some time as strategic partners to deliver business improvement training and this acquisition will enable Stafforce to offer lean manufacturing services and a broader managed service to its client base.

"This purchase is aligned with our plans for strategic growth and we continue to open up discussions with other smaller recruitment businesses with a view to future similar acquisitions."

Stafforce Recruitment has been operating for 33 years and the business now has over 20 sites across the UK.
